The Red Stables

Proposed front entrance courtyard, complete with winding bench seating made from copper sheets. Cut outs through the benches in a pattern inspired by the motifs seen on the exterior brick face of the building. I also designed the wayfinding map which is visible in this view.
The Red Stables Project

This is a group project that I completed with 2 of class peers, as our first project of our final year. We were tasked with redesigning the Red Stables in Saint Anne's Park, Dublin, into both residential spaces, and public spaces, appealing to the users of the Park. Our concept for this project was Journey - relating to the journey through time and how people journey through a space. We aimed to take our users on a journey through the history of this Victorian building, by conserving and utilising many of the original features on site. We also used many winding curved and shapes to bring the users on a physical journey, to spark curiosity - which was inspired by the many dog-owners and young children/young families seen when walking through the park. Below are my renders completed for this project, using Revit Cloud Rendering.
